In my understanding, giving a gender perspective (GP) entails considering a few points. That an analysis is void of a GP when it does not analyze the causes or consequences of a particular issue relating to roles assigned to women and men in society. Adding a gender perspective would thus mean that the interpretation of data resulting from the observation of a phenomenon will occur according to established sociological (or other) theories about relations between men and women.
So to begin with our new blog, I would be giving my stand to every story i read, and let you do the rest.
